Brian McLoughlin co-founded MTech Capital in 2018. He has board roles at Embroker, Inshur, Integriant, Matic, OCHO, Openly, Polly, Voxel and Zuub. Prior to founding MTech, Brian was a partner at Upfront Ventures for 14 years, investing in early-stage companies in the financial technology and insurance technology sectors. He and his partners at Upfront managed more than $700 million while he was at the firm. Prior to Upfront Ventures, Brian was the CFO of a VC-backed Fintech company. He holds an MBA from Wharton School of Business and a BA from Rutgers College.

Kevin McLoughlin co-founded MTech Capital in 2018. He has board roles at Akur8, Corvus, Cybercube, Hypatos, Insurify, Napo, Peppy, Plum Life, Rest Less and Thinksurance. Prior to founding MTech, Kevin spent 22 years in insurance investment banking, most recently as the Global Head of Insurance Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and prior to that, as Global Head of Insurance Banking at Citigroup. He also spent 7 years as an executive at AIG. Kevin maintains senior level relationships across the insurance industry globally, having advised many of the largest companies during his banking career. Kevin holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Boston College.

Nick joined MTech Capital in 2019. He has worked on >10 investments since joining MTech. Before joining MTech Capital, he spent 2 years as an Associate at L.E.K. Consulting, where he specialized in transactional due diligence and growth strategy work for private equity investors and strategics across the technology sector. Nick graduated from Harvard University with a BA in Economics, where he was a member of the Varsity Men's Volleyball team. He is based in Santa Monica.

Jack joined MTech Capital in 2019. He has worked on >10 investments since joining MTech. Before joining MTech Capital, he spent 4 years with CIL Management Consultants, where he supported leading private equity investors and corporates on financial services and technology transactions. Jack graduated from Oxford University with a BA/MA. He is based in London.

Before joining the MTech team, Taylor De Bruin was involved with multiple start-ups. He brings versatility to MTech Capital in his admin role. His areas of focus have included: accounting, customer support, marketing, quality assurance, website design, and more. Taylor graduated with a BS in Accounting and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He is based in Santa Monica.
